  Keeping yourself up-to-date with the market trends, shifting consumer demand, new business models and technological advancements is all a part of strategic sourcing for vendor development. What is Vendor Development? Developing your product or parts of it or the unfinished products from your vendor is what vendor development essentially is. This, in turn, improves your business in the aspects of finance, scalable growth, manufacturing, and the supply chain. An example to help you know the concept better: I want to get a car made but I don’t have a thousand parts a car is made of, obviously. So, I design it myself or independently and take help from vendors who specialize in the automotive sector.
